Prices and Booking

Accommodation prices quoted are for bed and breakfast. Rates are per person per night based on two people sharing There is a supplement for single occupancy, please ring for information.

During busy seasons there is usually a minimum stay of 2 nights.

Early booking is essential for May 1st Bank Holiday weekend, Goodwood Motor Festivals (June/July and September) and Bowls fortnight (August).

Payments

A deposit equal to at least one nights charge is required to secure a booking. Balances are payable on arrival.
Payment can be in cash, by cheque (supported by a guarantee card for the full amount) or by credit or debit card.

(We do not charge extra for card payments)

Cancellations

If you cancel or shorten your booking we will charge an administration fee of £10. We reserve the right not to accept shortened bookings at busy times.

If you tell us at least 14 days before your planned arrival date we will not ask you to pay anything more and the remainder of your deposit will be returned.

If you tell us less than 14 days before your arrival date or after arrival, you will have to pay for the days you booked if we are unable to re-let the room. You can obtain insurance to protect yourself against this possibility.

 

'No shows'

In the event of 'just not showing up' we reserve the right to charge the full amount of your pre booked stay less any deposit paid, to your debit or credit card. You will be notified in writing that this has been done.

 

Checking In & Out-NB We do not have 24Hr Reception

We will therefore, ask you for your estimated check in time and that you notify us if this time is to change significantly. We also ask that you keep us informed on the day of any delays to your arrival time. This is to prevent us having to cancel any appointments  in order for one of us to wait in for you and so that you are not left at the door waiting for us to return.

Rooms are available from 1200 hrs and we ask that you vacate your rooms by 1000 hrs on the morning of departure so that we can service the room for the next guests. You may, by arrangement,  leave your luggage with us outside these hours to make the most of your time in Worthing. As Bensons is our home we do go out from time to time. With this in mind check in is not available between the hours of 1300 hours and 1700 hours unless previously arranged.

Front door keys are provided for late night access

House Rules

Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the house If you break this rule you will be asked to leave immediately.

Takeaway meals may be eaten in the dining room but not in the bedrooms.

We are unable to accept children under 12 years old. We have a cat, Millie so can not take dogs for this reason. We do not accept night workers who want to sleep during the day.
